6 Rules for the Set
Three key points that this article makes about set etiquette is to do your job, don't disrupt others, and to help each other out if they need it. The article talks about how you should focus on your job and no one else's, especially if it's a completely different department, within the first rule. For example, someone who is in the art division shouldn't talk to the director on how they are doing their job, or how they think a shot should be. Rule #4 states that you should keep to yourself until the end of the take. This means to not speak when the crew is filming on set, and if you have to talk then wait until the end or else you might ruin the take. Rule #5 is all bout helping each other. It talks about how if there is something wrong with a take and it is your job to talk about what's wrong, you don't have to call out the actor or crew on what they did wrong in front of everybody. An example of this is the Script Supervisor, who makes sure the takes have continuity and follow the script.
